Analyst, Product Specialist | Carlyle

Location: London

Carlyle seeks to hire a Product Specialist in our Global Private Equity Investor Relations Group, based in London.  The Product Specialist will be primarily responsible for product coverage of Carlyle’s European Private Equity strategy.  The Product Specialist will be tasked with workstreams relating to fundraising processes, product and strategy development and investor-related requests. This successful candidate must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and work under pressure in a deadline-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Subject matter specialist across European private equity strategies

• Maintenance of fund level / portfolio level talking points

• Market research and performance benchmarking 

• Preparation of presentations/content for investor meetings and events including conferences

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Investment Teams, Sales, Fund Management, Legal and Compliance to successfully co-ordinate on cross department workstreams

• Fundraising:

o Pre-marketing, strategy and product development initiatives in advance of fund launches

o Drafting and update of marketing and due diligence materials

o Establishing and overseeing dataroom and monitoring access 

o Maintenance of fundraising pipelines 

o Responding to investor diligence requests

o Overseeing roadshows, meetings and due diligence preparation and sessions

• Managing information input and output through CRM system

Qualifications

Education & Certificates

  • Bachelors’ degree required

Professional Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience

  • Proven strong organizational and project management skills
