JOB FUNCTION

The Fundraising Support Associate will be a crucial member of their 20+ person Fundraising & Investor Relations team in their New York office. This role involves supporting team members across all fund families, conducting research to identify potential Limited Partners (LPs), and assisting with outreach initiatives. The Associate will also collaborate in planning roadshows, conferences, and events, maintain LP data within CRM systems, and gather LP intelligence to inform fundraising strategies. They will work closely with the entire team to facilitate timely responses to LP due diligence queries and coordinate the organization and management of LP events/conferences. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a team- and goal- oriented mindset.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Fundraising Support Associate will work out of the New York office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Directly support assigned team members in specific coverage areas across all fund families, ensuring a clear view of current and future engagement opportunities.

  • Conduct thorough research and prospecting to identify and qualify potential LPs.

  • Support the creation and ongoing management of target lists and pipelines, tracking interactions and engagement.

  • Assist with outreach initiatives to engage new and existing LPs.

  • Collaborate in the logistical planning of roadshows, conferences, and events.

  • Regularly update and maintain LP data within the firm’s CRM system (DealCloud), ensuring accuracy, timeliness and completeness.

  • Gather LP intelligence and undertake research projects to inform fundraise strategies.

  • Work closely with Product Specialists to facilitate timely responses to LP due diligence queries.

  • Assist in organizing and managing LP meetings, events and conferences, including on-site due diligence meetings, webinars, and informal gatherings, ensuring a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supporting capital raising and relationship management in private markets, preferably in private equity

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and third-party private markets databases.

  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to interact with a range of stakeholders.

  • Drive to win as part of a team and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively well as independently.
